He Yunchang is one of the most respected performance artists in China. Over the past two decades, he has made a name for himself with a series of exceptional performances that have tested the limits of the artist’s strength and endurance. In his works, psychological and physical stamina gain existential significance.
He Yunchang was born in 1967 in Yunnan Province, China . In 1991, He graduated from Oil Painting Department of Yunnan Arts University, he currently lives and works in Beijing, China.
